To pełna lista źródeł, na których opieramy artykuły w AromaLab. Zebraliśmy ją z 39 tekstów, ujednoliciliśmy zapis i usunęliśmy powtórzenia — jedna pozycja pojawia się tu raz, nawet jeśli cytujemy ją w kilkunastu miejscach.
Każdą pozycję możesz sprawdzić sam. Jeśli podaliśmy DOI, kliknięcie prowadzi wprost do rekordu wydawcy. Jeśli DOI nie ma — bo w oryginalnym źródle go nie było — wpisz tytuł w PubMed albo Google Scholar. Nie uzupełnialiśmy brakujących numerów tomów, roczników ani identyfikatorów „z pamięci”: pozycje, przy których dane są niepełne, oznaczyliśmy wprost jako [dane niepełne]. Wolimy przyznać się do luki, niż podać liczbę, której nie da się zweryfikować.
Nie wszystko na tej liście to badanie kliniczne — i dobrze, żebyś od razu wiedziała, co czytasz. Podręczniki, normy ISO, monografie farmakopealne, standardy IFRA, raporty agencji i materiały organizacji branżowych oznaczyliśmy nawiasem kwadratowym przy pozycji. Norma ISO mówi, jaki skład ma mieć olejek. Randomizowane badanie mówi, czy coś działa. To dwie różne rzeczy i nie zastępują się nawzajem.

Aromaterapia to kategoria, w której łatwo znaleźć potwierdzenie dowolnej tezy — wystarczy nie patrzeć, skąd pochodzi. My patrzymy. Oto porządek, według którego ważymy dowody.
Hierarchia dowodów
- Przeglądy systematyczne i metaanalizy badań na ludziach — najmocniejsza przesłanka, jaką możemy podać.
- Randomizowane badania kontrolowane (RCT) z grupą kontrolną i zaślepieniem. W aromaterapii zaślepienie zapachu jest trudne — piszemy o tym otwarcie, gdy ma to znaczenie dla wniosku.
- Badania kliniczne bez randomizacji, badania obserwacyjne, serie i opisy przypadków — przydatne zwłaszcza po stronie bezpieczeństwa (jeden dobrze opisany przypadek zatrucia to realne ostrzeżenie).
- Badania in vitro i na zwierzętach — mówią o mechanizmie, nie o skuteczności u człowieka. Nigdy nie przekładamy stężenia z płytki hodowlanej na skórę.
- Normy, farmakopee, standardy IFRA, raporty agencji — rozstrzygają o tożsamości i jakości surowca oraz limitach stosowania, nie o działaniu terapeutycznym.
- Podręczniki, kompendia i materiały organizacji branżowych — porządkują praktykę i dawkowanie. Cytujemy je jako konwencję, nie jako dowód.
Co robimy, gdy dowody są słabe
- Piszemy to wprost w tekście. „Jedno małe badanie na 30 osobach” i „metaanaliza 22 badań” nie brzmią u nas tak samo.
- Nie awansujemy myszy do rangi pacjenta. Jeśli wynik pochodzi z modelu zwierzęcego albo z hodowli komórkowej, mówimy o hipotezie i mechanizmie, nie o działaniu.
- Nie uzupełniamy braków. Brakujący DOI, tom czy rocznik zostaje brakiem oznaczonym jako [dane niepełne]. Wymyślona referencja na stronie o nazwie „Bibliografia” byłaby gorsza niż jej brak.
- Rozróżniamy rodzaj źródła. Stąd oznaczenia w nawiasach kwadratowych — masz od razu wiedzieć, czy czytasz normę, poradnik, czy badanie kliniczne.
- Odrzucamy to, czego nie da się sprawdzić. Materiały marketingowe producentów, strony sklepów i „powszechnie wiadomo” nie trafiają na tę listę. Przy porządkowaniu tej bibliografii odrzuciliśmy w ten sposób kilkadziesiąt pozycji zebranych automatycznie z archiwalnych artykułów.
- Aktualizujemy w obie strony. Jeśli nowsze dane podważą któreś z twierdzeń w naszych artykułach, poprawiamy artykuł — nie usuwamy niewygodnego źródła.
